This task was to create a modernistic performance in my own style of a band or artist. I choose 

‘The Prodigy’ as I felt a lot of their songs could inspire some interesting and unusual   set creation, 

that you wouldn’t get from the conventional artists of today. I researched into the performers, looked at 

previous performances, and tried to find relatable performances and features to their shows. I noticed that 

their previous costume designs looked a lot like industrial suits and alien costumes. This led me to the Sky 

Tv series ‘Chernobyl’,where I thought the chemical suits and boots could not only help depicts songs like 

‘Poison’ but also fit the remit of the band. The main logo of ‘The Prodigy’ is an ant, they have always 

incorporated some form of ant image on stage. My interpretation of what the show could be, led me\

 to create a ‘Giger’ (from Alien) styled ant that came out into the audience. The colours kept with the

 band main colour of UV, chemical colours from ‘Chernobyl’ and the infamous 

black of alien were added to give it a unique flair.
